The Tibetan American Foundation of Minnesota (TAFM) stands as a beacon of hope and cultural resilience, transforming the landscape of Tibetan immigrant integration since 1992. Emerging from the visionary Tibetan US Repatriation Act, TAFM has masterfully guided the resettlement of Tibetan communities, propelling a remarkable journey from 160 initial settlers to a vibrant, thriving population of over 3,500. With unwavering commitment to education, cultural preservation, and social empowerment, TAFM is pioneering the groundbreaking Tibet Town—an ambitious vision to create a dynamic cultural sanctuary that will safeguard Tibetan heritage, spiritual practice, and intergenerational connection for decades to come.
